  • Jan Bolk was likely a son of Frerik Bolk, because No parents mentioned at marriage in 1711, Frerik living in 1725. Jan Bolk pays off a mortgage in 1754, which had been taken out by Frerik Bolk in 1718.4
     Jan Bolk was from in Almelo at his marriage.2 He married Hendrikje Janssen Princen, daughter of Johan Prinsen and Aale Alberts Huiskes, in Almelo2 (banns (NH) 16 Aug 1711, Almelo.)2 He died bet 1757 - 1768, because he was living at the time of Judith's marriage, and died before Frerik's.1,5

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 20 Aug 1740:
Jan Freriksen Bolk, and his wife Hendrikje Janssen Princen took out a mortgage with Jan van Daelen, and his wife Anna van Logchem and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard and the garden behind it, between the house of the children of Hendrik Warners and the meadow of Andries Wanders.3

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 16 Oct 1754:
Jan Fredrik Bolk, for himself, and as father and guardian of his minor daughter Janna Bolk, and for his absent daughter Aleida Bolk, living in Amsterdam, and also Fredrik Bolk for himself, and Judith Bolk with her guardian Secr. Hein took out a mortgage with Burgemeester Jolink and his wife Helena ten Stokkelaar and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, in which they are living, with the garden behind it, between the house of Hendrik Wanders's chgildren and that of the widow of Andries Wanders. With this they pay off a mortgage, which they had taken out on 10 July 1718 and 20 Aug 1740 with the widow of Jan Doelen and her children. The mortgage was paid off on 16 May 1763.4
