     Geesken Hermsen was from in Ulsen at her marriage.1 She married (NH) Berent van het Slot, son of Berent van de List, on 29 May 1740 in Almelo1,3 (banns (NH) 1 May 1740, Almelo.)1 She died bet 1758 - 1766, because she makes a will in 1758, and her husband was a widower at 2nd marriage.2,3

She lived at the time of her marriage in Almelo.1 Her father was Hermen van Westershuis (Hermen Wagters). (He was from Halle.)1,2
Berent van het Slot and Geeske Wagters with her guardian Secr. Hein made a will on 3 Apr 1758. They name each other sole heir, but the father of testatrix, Herman Wagters, if he is still living is entitled to his legal portion.2
Berent van het Slot and Geeske Wagters with her guardian Dr. E. Dull made a will on 26 Feb 1765. They name each other as heir. After the death of the last, the estate will go to Hermina Camphuis, daughter of Jannes Camphuis, who now lives with them, on the condition that she will continue living with them until the death of the last spouse. Testatrix gives ƒ100.- to the children of her sister Fenneken Wagters.4
