She lived at the time of her marriage in Almelo.2 Her parents were Jan Jacobs and Aaltjen ter Hofstede. (He died before 1753.)4,2,5
Gerrit Rompelman and Geesje Jacobs with her guardian Secr. Hein made a will on 11 May 1754. Testator names his wife as sole heir, and his mother Anneken de Haas, widow of Jan Rompelman in her legal portion. Testatrix names her husband as sole heir, and her mother Aaltjen ter Hofstede, widow of Jan Jacobs, in her legal portion.4
Jan van Otten and Geesje Jacobs made a will on 20 Jan 1762. They name each other as heir. Testator also names his mother Derkje Brekink, widow of Hermannus Hogenkamp, and testatrix her mother Aaltje Hofstede, widow of Jan Jacobs.5
