Fenneken Smit was from in Amsterdam at her marriage.1 She married (NH) Jan Bolk, son of Jan Luickas Bolk and Hendrina Harmsen, on 24 May 1759 in Almelo1,2 (banns (NH) 16 Apr 1759, Almelo.)1 She died b 1795, because her husband was a widower at 2nd marriage.2

Jan Bolk and Fenneken Smit made a will on 2 Mar 1785. They name each other as heir. After the death of the survivor testator names as sole heirs his brother and sister, namely Gerrit Bolk and Harmina Bolk, or their heirs. Testatrix names as sole heir her brother Derk Smit or his heirs. They leave their clothes to their family. If the survivor remarries, he or she will have to pay the heirs of the first deceased ƒ150. After the death of the survivor Gerrit Bolk will receive two pieces of land in the Ooster Es, one between the land of Gerrit Hagedoorn Lzn Hendrik Bavink, and the other between the lanbd of Izak ten Bruggencate and the Dutch Reformed Parish.3 Her father was Hendrik Smit. (He died before 1759.)1
