Max S. Miller was born in 1893 in Denmark.3 Max S. Miller married Ellen S.1,3 Max S. Miller was a screen manufacturer Miller Screen Co at 13 Madison Ave in Paterson. In the 1940 census he is listed as an executive (furniture manufacture.)4,5,6 Ellen was born in 1902 in Denmark.3 Max S. Miller appeared on the 1940 census as the head of household at Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, New Jersey, with his wife Ellen, and their child Peter. Enumerated with them were his brothers Wilhelm S. Miller and Paul Miller.3,7 Max and Wilhelm were living in Fair Lawn as early as 1935. In the Paterson 1933 Directory, they are also listed as h. at FL, but they are not listed in the 1933 Ridgewood directory.7,8 Max and Ellen had one son Peter.3 Peter was born in January 1940 in New Jersey.3 Max and his brothers were naturalized before 1940, Ellen was an alien.3 Wilhelm and Max are listed resp. as proprietor and manager (screen manufacture). They immigrated in 1915, and were enumerated at 5 Norma Terrace, Hawthorne, New Jersey. Their ages are listed as 39 and 35, a bit different from 1940.9
Wilhelm S. Miller was born in 1892 in Denmark.3 Wilhelm S. Miller was divorced, according to the census (no spouse was listed in the directory.)1,3 Wilhelm S. Miller was also a screen manufacturer in Paterson. And in the 1940 census a also an executive (furniture manufacture.)1,3 Paul Miller was in 1940 a cabinet worker (furniture manufacture.)3


#2. Bert Clark (from 1966 to 1973).
     In 1970-1973 his wife R:Lives-w-1] is listed as the head.
Elbert was listed in 1940 at 342B Plaza Road North, in 1941 at 13-26 Plaza Road South, then in 1948 at 1 Aberdeen Place, in 1950-1954 at 7 Andover Place, and Mrs. Helen M. Clark was listed as a widow in 1970-1973 at 19 Ramapo Terrace.
Elbert D. Clark was born in 1908 in New Jersey.10 Elbert D. Clark married Helen in 1938.10,1 Elbert D. Clark was in 1941 an assistant liquidator for the government. In the 1940 census he is listed as a real estate manager for a private bank. In 1950 he worked for Veile & Clark (with Frederick Veile) at 13-36 River Road in Fair Lawn.10,1,11 Elbert lived in 1935 in Bayonne, New Jersey.10 Helen Clark was widowed (Spouse: Bert.)12
Helen Clark was born in 1908 in New York.10 Helen Clark was in 1970 the owner of a real estate agency at 26-02 Broadway in Fair Lawn. He seems to still be listed in 1970.12 Helen lived in 1935 in Jersey City, New Jersey.10 Elbert and Helen had a daughter Susan.10 Susan was born in September 1939 in New Jersey.10
