The Ancestors of My Grandchildren

     Anna was from Utrecht at her marriage.¹ She married Abraham Moyses Copijn, son of Moysis Copijn and Trijntje Huijberts, on 16 Apr 1626 at Utrecht.¹ She was buried on 25 Oct 1669 in the NH Cemetery at Utrecht; surviving were her adult children.²

Anna Gerritsz van der Stoop and Abraham Moyses Copijn had at least one more child that died young.³
     On 5 Jan 1661 Anthonis Janss, m. Gerrichgen Abrahams Copyn, Symon Abrahamss Copyn, Cornelis Abrahamss Copyn, Jan Abrahamss Copyn, and Ediwaert Abrahamss Copyn, all adults; and Geertgen Abrahams Copyn, Catharyn Abrahams Cooppyn, and Jironimus Abrahamss Cooppyn, all minors, make an agreement with their mother Annichjen Gerrits. All are heirs of Aeltgen Gerrits van der Stoop; their mother has usufruct of the estate; they declare to have received f12-10-0 less in their portion from the executor Stoffell Sebastiaenss van der Stoop, because their mother used f100-0-0 from the estate.⁴
     On 21 Apr 1663 Annichgen van der Stoop transfers a legacy of f200,- from her late sister Meynsgen van der Stoop, out of the estate of Adolph de Ruytenbergh, to Nicolaas de Berey, husband of Geertruyd Copijn, her daughter.⁵
     On 18 Jul 1663 Simon Copyn, Cornelis Copyn, Jan Copyn, Eduwaert Copyn, Anthonis Janss (x Gerrichjen Copyn), and Nicolaes de Brey (x Geertgen Copyn) sign a receipt for the remainder of their part of the estate of their aunt Aeltgen Gerrits van der Stoop; Simon Copyn, Eduwaert Copyn, and Nicolaes de Brey renounce their portion in favor of their mother(in-law) Anna Gerrits van der Stoop, wid. Abraham Copijn.⁶
