     Hezekiah Tiffeny was born on 10 Nov 1760 in Attleboro, Massachusetts.1 He married Betsey on 5 Jan 1836 at Sodus, New York, (She was a widow.)2 He died on 28 Sep 1839 in Sodus, New York.2

He served in the American Revolution. He served with Capt. Caleb Richardson of the Massachusetts Militia.
In 1776-1777 he served 40 days in de Company of Capt. Caleb Richardson, Regiment of Col. Stephen Richardson, Massachussetts Troops. On June 1 1777 he re-enlisted for six months in Col. Richardson Co., Reg. of Capt Keys, was discharged 1 Jan 1778. He re-enlisted on June 1, 1778 again in Col. Richardson's Co., Reg. of Capt. Wade, Brigade of Gen. Cornwallis and Gen. Sullivan. He served three more months as a substitute. In Jul 1780 he enlisted again for six months.2
