Martin was baptized on 28 Apr 1594 in the St. Mary's Church, at Bocking, England.1 He (1) married ? ?1 He (2) married Jane on 25 Dec 1639 at Roxbury, Massachusetts.1 He died b 23 Nov 1659 in Boston because his son John Stebbins was granted the administration of his estate.1

Other information:

He is first mentioned in Roxbury, Massachusetts on 17 Oct 1639, when he signs an obligation to pay money. He was a gardener there, but moved to Boston c. 1647 and became a brewer. On 25 Jul 1659 he had a license to draw beer.1
Rowland and Martin may have been related to Edward Stebbins (see Migration), and his younger sister Thomas and William, but it is still unproven that Thomas Stebbins and William Stebbins are brothers. The baptisms of Rwland's children were in Bocking, those of William's children are in Black Notley; however, these places are only about 3 miles apart.2,3
