     John Pratt married Ruth.1

John Pratt and Ruth had seven children: John, Susannah, Isaac, Amos, Ruth, Eleazer, and Hezekiah.1
     John Pratt bought from Samuel Howe 50 acres, next to the land of John Adams, and from Mattias Rice 30 acres near Indian Head. In 1703 he sold to John How 30 acres of swampland and upland, on the road from Sherburne to Sudbury. He was a selectman in Framingham in 1709, and probably moved to Marlborough.1
     Consider Sampson, John's maid also worked for Andrew Mitchell, who beat her severely for the slightest infractions in 1690. She ran away, and John sues Mitchell. At her reappearance, she is convicted of fornication in Feb 1691.2
