     Catharina Jahn was born in Amsterdam.3 Catharina was baptized (Ev. Luth.) on 20 Dec 1733 at Amsterdam. Sponsors were Anna Schmes and Hendrik Schmes.2 She (1) married Eldert Volkamp4 (banns 5 Oct 1753, Amsterdam. His mother Johanna Vogelenberg is his witness; her father Jan Conraad Jaan is hers.)3 She (2) married Antonij Coenraad Linsen, son of Hendrik Linsen and Catharina Heijdewig Luther,1 (banns 7 Jul 1758, Amsterdam. His brother Hendrik is his witness; she was the widow of Eldert Voolkamp.)4 She died in Jan 1763 in Amsterdam (Heerengracht)5, and was buried on 18 Jan 1763 in the Old Lutheran Cemetery at Amsterdam.5

Other information:
Catharina Jahn and Eldert Volkamp made a will on 2 Aug 1754. Their possible children will be the heirs; in absence of children, his mother and her parents will inherit.6
     There are no descendants from Eldert Volkamp, only daughter Catherine has progeny. Eldert leaves 2 minor children in 1757 (Johanna en ?). At her death in 1763 Catherina leaves 4 minor children (Johanna,?, Catherina en Hendrik), her father leaves 1 minor grandchild (Catharina) at his death in 1771. Her 2nd husband Antonij Coenraad Linsen is in 1776 survived by three minor children, of which, aside from Catharina, at least one has descendants.
