     Jan was from Dalfsen at his marriage.1 He married (NH) Geertjen Jansen ten Bruggenkate, daughter of Jan Harmsen, on 16 Dec 1703 in Almelo1 (banns 19 Nov 1703, Almelo).1 He died b 1729 because his wife was a widow, when her house was sold to Wolter Baerschers.3

Jan Dieters and his wife Geertjen Jansen ten Bruggenkate take out a mortgage. They use as collateral their house, situated between the house of Evert Cremer and that of Simon Bakker. This is for beer, delivered a.o. on10 Dec 1703, to Geertjen Jansen ten Bruggenkate, who was then the widow of Hendrik Godschalk.2
