She would have been at least 60 years old, when she married Jan Koppers, if we assume that she was at least 20 at the time of the portrait. But who is she? Possibly Hermken ten Bruggencate is the daughter of Jan Gerrits ten Bruggencate and Hermke Janssen ten Bruggencate the daughter Hermken of Jan ten Bruggencate and Marijke Baarschers.
