     Gerrijt was from Almelo at his marriage.2 He (1) married Janna Schuitemaker5,3 (banns (NH) 29 Sep 1704, Almelo).2 He (2) married Berendje ten Bruggencate, daughter of Herman ten Bruggencate and Marijke, on 11 Sep 1735 in Almelo6 (banns (NH) 28 Aug 1735, Almelo. They went on 10 Oct with certificate to Holten).1,6 He died b 1765.7

Gerrijt ter Braake and Janna Schuitemaker made a will on 1 Jul 1734. They name their sons Abraham and Gerrit and daughters Aeltjen and Hermina as heirs.3

Baerent ter Brake and his wife Geertje ter Harmsen and Gerrijt ter Braake and his wife Berendje ten Bruggencate convey to Mayor Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelije, a house with the neighboring land, next to the house of Jan Arentsen Hagedoorn, that they have inherited from their late mother (in-law), the widow of Willem ter Braeke.8
