     Benjamin was baptized in 1773 in Vriezenveen.1

     A Benjamin (ten) Bruggencate is buried in the Lutheran Smolensk Cemetery (Div. 38, pt 6-5) in St. Petersburg, Russia. This cemetery was started as burial ground for strangers and not-greek orthodox. A large part were German Lutherans, but many others were also buried there. Unfortunately there are not enough details in the listing of 1882 to determine which Benjamin this is.2
