Probably his contact in Paterson and Passaic is related to the second wife of his father.1,2,4,5 Sjouke Jans Stienstra and Lolkje Pieters Zijlstra had 10 children, 9 were alive in 1910. Peter and Nellie are born in NY, the rest in Holland.7

Household consists of Charles, his wife Louise and six children: Jessie (21), Burdie (20), Catherine (19), John (16), Peter (10), Nellie (10). The last two are born in NY, the rest in Holland.11
