Cornelius Maas was born in 1893 in The Netherlands.1 He married Agnes Nawyn.1 Cornelius Maas died on 9 January 1975 in Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains, Bergen County, New Jersey.1 He was buried in Totowa (Laurel Grove Memorial Park.)1

He immigrated with Cornelius P. Maas and Jantje C. Maas on the Potsdam, from Rotterdam (Mar 20, 1909), arriving in New York on 31 Mar 1909, with seven children: Cornelis (17), Willemina Kl. (15), Klaartje W. (14), Jacob (10), Jannetje (9), Maria (8) and Johannes (1). They were going to his brother H. W. Verbaarschal, 17 Watson Street, Paterson. Last residence was Texel, contact his father Pieter Maas.2
