  • Was Jan Colmschate possibly the son of Lambert Colmschate? If Jan is indeed the Jan Lambers of the memberlist, then it would make sense.
     Jan Colmschate married Berentien Koedijk.1 He died bet 21 Feb 1737 - 21 Feb 1738 in Almelo.4

Jan Lambers Colmeschot became a member of the NH church in Almelo on 12 Apr 1690.5

Berent Dieters, and his wife Jenneken Koedijk conveyed to Jan Colmschate, and his wife Berentien Koedijk and heirs, their house and yard, situated between the house of Henrick Jongejans and the Muesenkamp.1

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 24 Jul 1728:
Dr. J. Dull and Dr. G.H. Hein both judges and lawyers in Almelo, as guardians over the estate of Hermannus Schrunder and his late wife Maria de Vries conveyed to Jan Colmsgaet, and his wife and heirs, a house and yard, with stable, brewery and brewery tools, called "Schuitjen," together with both dwellings in the rear.3
