Stadsgericht, Almelo, 5 Mar 1728:
Jan Lucas took out a mortgage with Harmen Jolink, and his wife Trientjen Claessen, with as collateral his house and yard, next to the house of aforementioned Burgemeester Jolink, and the house of Gerrit van Goor, presently owned by the Count of Rechteren, and also his furniture and the looms. Present were also Claes Cremer, for himself and as father and guardian over his minor daughter Trientjen Claessen, and Jan Willemsen and his wife, and Lucas Kremer and his wife. And also Jan Lucas Bolk and his wife Hendrina Leijsen, Hendrik ter Bruggen and his wife Janna Bolk, and Berent Bolk and his wife Geesken Bolk for themselves and their minor children, who all declare to assent to the loan of their resp. father (-in-law) and grandfather, and to act as security for their portion of the inheritance.4

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 20 May 1732:
Marijken Lucas Kremer, widow of Jan Willemsen for herself and as mother and guardian over her minor daughter, with her guardian Jan Colmschate, and also Claes Lucas for herself and his absent wife, with special permission from the Count of Rechteren took out a mortgage with Gerrit Koster, and his wife Stientjen ten Cate and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, between the house of Burgemeester Jolink and that of Gerrit van Goor, that now is the property of the Count of Rechteren.5

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 1 Jun 1739:
Claes Lucas, and his wife Egbertjen Janssen, and also Marijken Lucas, for herself, and as mother and guardian of her minor son Willem Janssen, with her guardian Derk ter Bruggen took out a mortgage with Gerrit Coster, and his wife Stientjen ten Cate, with as collateral their house and yard, between a house of ex-burgemeester Jolink and on the other side next to a house of the Count of Rechteren, in which Gerrit van Goor is living.6
