Abraham ten Bruggencate shows a receipt, received from Jan van den Berg, because of a mortgage, taken out on 4 Nov 1704 by the late an unknown person and his wife Gesina Lambers, with as security their house, between the house of Dr. Bruins and that of Jan Vikkers, with a request to discharge this mortgage10 It is not clear if this is the same house as was sold by Geesken ten Bruggencate, widow of Berend Spiekers, on the same day. If it is, then it woudl be an argument to link her to the original owners Gesina Lambers.
