The 1940 census lists their residence as 'same house.3' John and Elizabeth had a daughter Olden.3 Olden was born in 1935 in New Jersey.3 In 1949, he petioned the tax court to see whether some fees, received from the Borough of Fair Lawn for his work for the sewer construction was properly taxed (see. )


#2. Robert T. Armistead.
Robert was listed in 1950 at 17 Randolph Terrace, in 1952-1958 at 21 Randolph Terrace, and in 1960-1973 at 348 Owen Avenue. Robert T. Armistead married Bernice.7 Robert T. Armistead died on 17 October 1983.7 Robert T. Armistead was in 1952 a plumber in Jersey City. In 1973 he was a contractor in Kearny.8,9 Robert T. Armistead appeared on the 1940 census in the household of his parents, Robert and Isabel Armistead, and two sisters.10 Bernice was born on 25 July 1924 in Jersey City, New Jersey.7 Bernice Armistead died on 15 June 2010 in Goshen, New York.7 (Obituary in the Radburn Bulletin on 17 June 2010.)7
