H. Bennett Nelson was born in 1899 in Connecticut.6 H. Bennett Nelson married Ruth R. in 1924. She was the widow of H. Bennett from 1962.7,3,6,8 H. Bennett Nelson was from 1931 to 1933 a salesman (tires) in Newark. In 1952 he worked in NY, in 1960 he was a sales manager.7,6,9 Ruth was born in 1899 in Connecticut.6 H. Bennett Nelson appeared on the 1930 census as the head of household at 299 Rutland Ave, Teaneck, New Jersey, with his wife Ruth R., and their child Shirley.6 H. Bennett Nelson appeared on the 1940 census as the head of household at Branford, Connecticut, with his wife Ruth R., and their child Shirley.10 H. and Ruth had a daughter Shirley.6,10 Shirley was born in 1925 in Connecticut.6 Shirley probably married Carlton F. Grimes.11,12
