     Wildrik Jacobus Beumee was born on 27 Jan 1863 in Veendam.1,2 He married Grietje Starke, daughter of Jan Tonkes Starke and Aafien Meijering, on 4 Nov 1886 at Nieuwe Pekela1 (banns 17 Oct 1886.)1 He died on 9 Jul 1944 in Greenville, Darke County, Ohio, (Wayne Hospital)2, and was buried on 12 Jul 1944 at LaGrange Township2 His obituary appeared on 13 Jul 1944.3

Wildrik Jacobus Beumee was a furniture maker, later foreman in a furnitureworks.1,4 He and Grietje Starke emigrated in 1889 from 'Schiedam', Onstwedde, to Argentina on the ship Schiedam. They arrived 9 Mar 1889 in Argentina. Mensiena died on board5,6 They must have gone soon afterwards to the US, as they are in the 1900 census in Muskegon City, Michigan with 6 children, the 5 youngest being born in Michigan.7
     He was issued a passport on 10 Apr 1920 in Cassopolis, Michigan.8
