     James Warriner was born on 21 Jan 1640/41 in Springfield, Massachusetts.¹ He (1) married Elisabeth Baldwin on 31 Mar 1664 at Springfield.³ He (2) married Sarah Alvord on 10 Jul 1689 at Springfield, Massachusetts.² He (3) married Mary Graves, daughter of John Graves and Mary Smith, on 29 Dec 1703 at Springfield, Massachusetts.² He died on 14 May 1727.²

On 2 Feb 1668/69 Thomas Dewey, Robert Ashley, James Warriner, William Warriner, Thomas Noble, David Ashley and Jonathan Ashley was among the signers from Springfield of a petition protesting the imposition by England of customs on goods imported into or exported from Massachusetts Colony.^7,8
On 21 Sep 1688 he took part in a skirmish at Quabauch to protect its inhabitants, who were weak and few.²
