John Parmenter was born c 1639.1 He married Elizabeth Cutler, daughter of James Cutler and Mary.2,1,3 He died on 18 Sep 1719 in Sudbury, Massachusetts.4

John Parmenter made a will on 10 Nov 1719. It was proved on 10 Nov 1719 in Sudbury1 He is among the signers of a petition for restitution of damages, sustained during King Philip's War.5
A John Parmenter of Sudbury, age around 50 yrs testifies to the atrocious behaviour of Governor Adrosse. He is mentioned again on pg 33-34, where he has to pay a bond of £100.-.6
A John Parmenter is appointed to sweep out the new meetinghouse in Sudbury from 1 Apr 1696 to 1 Apr 1697. He will get 14 bushels of indian corn or 20 shillings in money for this. This could also be his son John.7
A John Parmenter appears on diverse taxlists in Boston from 1674 through 1695. It is not clear, whether this is our John Parmenter, as that seems to be in Sudbury as early as 1676.8
John Parmenter and Benjamin Parmenter appear on a list of people, who took responsibilty for the public stock of ammunition in 1688.9
Both John and his brother George had their first child shortly after their marriage. Both were convicted of fornication, the first in 1668, the second in 1679. Their father John Parmenter brought suit on 26 Feb 1665 against Christoffer Banister, of Malden, on behalf of his daughter Mary, for defiling his daughter.10
