     William David S. Jenkins was born on 17 Aug 1755 in York County, Pennsylvania.1 He married Mary Thompson, daughter of Joseph Thompson, on 24 Nov 1781 at Bush River, South Carolina.1 He died on 8 Nov 1813 in Concord Township, Ohio,1,3, and was buried in the Pearson Cemetery at Miami County.3

Other information:

     According to records of the Bush River Monthly Meeting in Newberry County, William David S. Jenkins and Mary Thompson "married out of unity". This meant William married a non-Quaker. However, Mary and her parents appear in Quaker records before 1781. However, Mary does not seem to be in Hinshaw on a same page as either William Jenkins or his father.1
