  • Was Jan Claassen Kremer possibly the father of Janna Kremers? Janna's father was living in 1702, Jan in 1713. Janna is not mentioned in Jan Claassen Kremer's will, but she was already dead.
     Jan Claassen Kremer married Geesken Swiersen.2 He died a 1713, because he makes a will.2

Jan Lucas Kremer and Geesken Swiersen with her guardian Dr. Liens made a will on 12 Dec 1713. They name their children Claas Lucassen Kremer, Marieken Lucassen wife of Jan Willemsen, and the children of their late daughter Grietien Lucas sole heirs. The survivor has however the right to use all possessions during his or her lifetime.2

The town of Almelo conveyed to Jan Claassen Kremer, town constable, a piece of land in the A, because the town owed him wages.5

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 5 Mar 1728:
Jan Lucas took out a mortgage with Harmen Jolink and his wife Trientjen Claessen, with as collateral his house and yard, next to the house of aforementioned Burgemeester Jolink, and the house of Gerrit van Goor, presently owned by the Count of Rechteren, and also his furniture and the looms. Present were also Claes Cremer, for himself and as father and guardian over his minor daughter Trientjen Claessen, and Jan Willemsen and his wife, and Lucas Kremer and his wife. And also Jan Lucas Bolk and his wife Hendrina Leijsen, Hendrik ter Bruggen and his wife Janna Bolk, and Berent Bolk and his wife Geesken Bolk for themselves and their minor children, who all declare to assent to the loan of their resp. father (-in-law) and grandfather, and to act as security for their portion of the inheritance.4
