     Geertruida Wessels was born c 1787 at Notter in Rijssen.1,2 She married Christiaan Nijhoff, son of Isaak Nijhof and Willemina Bannink,3,4,5 (banns (Gericht) 29 Apr 1809, Stad Almelo.)1 She died on 8 Feb 1837 at Groote Straat (wijk 4), house #2 in Stad Almelo. Gradus Slaghuis and Jan van den Elst were the witnesses.2

She lived at the time of her marriage in Almelo.1 Her father was Gerrit Wessels.1
