Egbert Peppels, and his wife Lutgert Bolmeijer took out a mortgage with Albertus Bastiaan, ex-burgemeester Albertus Bastiaan and his wife Anna Christina Lubelei and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, between the house of the widow of Lambert Boom, and that of the widow of Harmannus Spijker. Miss A. C. Stuurman declares on 19 Apr 1779 that the mortgage has been paid off.2
