     Christina Booms was from in Almelo at her marriage.1 She married (NH) Jan Willem Harwig, son of Nicolaas Harwig and Johanna Schol, on 12 Jun 1748 in Almelo1,2 (banns (NH) 24 May 1748, Almelo.)1

J. W. Harwig and Christina Boom with her guardian Secr. D. J. Lamberts made a will on 10 Sep 1794. They name each other as sole heir. After their death testators name their 5 children, namely Lambert Harwig, Nicolaas Harwig, Jan Hendrik Harwig, Jenneken Harwig, and Jannes Harwig, or if they predecease them, their legal children. They leave to their daughter Jenneken Harwig in advance ƒ1000.- or if she prefers, the house, next to the house in which testators are living, and the garden behind it, across from the Hagen, for payment of ƒ4000.- . She will also receive her mother's clothes, consisting of linen, woollen, gold, silver, jewels, etc. The 4 sons will receive their father's clothes. If the daughter is not married at the time of her parents' death, she Indien de dochter is not married at the time of her parents' death, than she will receive, as her brothers ƒ1500.- in advance. Furthermore a list of all linen and woollen goeds, signed by testators themselves, will be attached.3
