Egbert Voerknegt and Sara Bolk with her guardian Jan Fredrik Hein made a will on 20 Apr 1759. They name each other as heir. Testator gives his clothes and ƒ150.- to his next-of-kin. He gives his nephew Stoffer Voerknegt his loom, and to the son of Abraham Wanschers, namely Stoffer Wanschers his shirt with the silver buttons, and his silver. Testatrix gives to her sisters Jenneke Bolk wife of Jan Bruijns, Hendrina Bolk, widow of Baerent Wanschers, en Getruit Bolk widow of Wolter Voerknegt, all her clothes, with the exception of her best damast skirt, from which her husband shall make some shirts. She gives to the daughter of Lambert Bruijns, namely Getruit Bruins her bag with the silver clasp. She givesƒ150.-, to her next-of-kin, on the condition that her sisters, halfsisters and halfbrothers will be treated equally.5
