     Johannes Henricus Nelis was born c Dec 1770 in Woubach.1,2 He married (RK) Joanna Deterink, daughter of Jan Hendrik Diederink and Johanna Wilberink, on 22 Jun 1794 in Almelo4 (banns 17 May 1794, Almelo.)1 They were married (NH) on 21 Jun 1794 in Almelo.1,5 He died on 19 Nov 1807 in Stad Almelo. Johanna Diderink was the witness2 One son survived him.2

His parents were Johannes Nelis and Maria Angenees Jansen.1

H. A. van Glabbeek and Joseph Sijbertz, as guardians over the minor son of the late J.H. Nelis and Johanna Dieterik, convey a piece of land in the Windmolenhoek, next to that of M. Nijhof, that was bought by the buyers on 6 Feb 1809 in a public sale, to J. ten Bruggencate, his wife and heirs, and J.R. Heek and heirs.6
