     Hendrik Velthuis was born c 1760 in Ambt Almelo.2,7 He married (NH) Aaltje Geerdink, daughter of Jan Geerdink and Maria Veldhof, on 25 Nov 1781 in Almelo2,3 (banns (NH) 19 Oct 1781, Almelo.)2 He died on 25 Jan 1820 at Sluitersveld, house #274 in Ambt Almelo. Pieter Reekers and Mannes Wevershuis were the witnesses.7
