     Cornelis ter Stal was born in 1764 in Meppel.1,2,3 He married (NH) Janna Bruggink, daughter of Lucas Bruggink and Willemiena Doelen, on 28 Jun 1793 in Almelo1,4,5,3 (banns (NH) 31 May 1793, Almelo.)1 He died on 2 Feb 1828 at Scharleroi, house #224 in Stad Almelo. Hendrik Jan Zwiersen and Frans Bartman were the witnesses.3

He lived at the time of his marriage in Almelo.1 His parents were Hendrik ter Stal and Annigjen van Riel.1
In his death certificate his parents are listed Hendrik ter Stal and Willemina Voerknecht, and he is b. in Almelo. As a witness in 1819 he is over 23 yrs old. This could than be son Willem, but he signs C. ter Stal, and Willem is illiterate. 23 is prob. a mistake, and it should be over 53.3,6
