The Nederlands Patriciaat (1913) has as earliest ancestor Johan Warners, b. c. 1570, mentioned in a court case in 1628 in Almelo and in 1639 en ‘44 as guardian, m. Grietien, dg. of Coert Hertgers. He was living in Ahaus. My correspondent did not give me the names of their son and grandson, de grandfather of Antoni Warners. The article has the father of Antoni Warners as Hindrik Warnaars.
