Catharina Francisca Gesina van Batavia made a will on 16 Dec 1794. She names as sole heir Coenraad Cock and his wife Barta Lamberts for half, ad N. H. ten Cate and his wife A. M. G. Cock for the other half, or if they predecease her, their children. The heirs have to give her a proper funeral, and have her body buried in the Church in Almelo. She gives to the widow Boom, if she stays with her until her death, a good suit and a brown fur jacket, and to Hendrina Wegkamp, who is now living with Ds. P. Stulen, a colored apron or pinafore.¹ Catharina Francisca Gesina van Batavia's estate was probated on 1 Dec 1799.
