Hendrik ten Cate Hermannuszn made a will on 3 Aug 1761. He names as sole heir for half of his estate his nephew Jan Hermen Coster and his wife Aleijda Coster, or, if they die without issue the children of Lambert Coster and Judith Coster, namely Egbert Costers and Judith Coster, and for the other half his niece Judith Coster, now married to Jan ten CateJanszn, or if they predecease him to both children from her 1st marriage with Lambert Coster. Testator wishes that his forementioned niece Judith Coster and her children shall pay to Jan Hermen Coster and his wife Aleijda Coster ƒ3000.-, as they have 4 kinderen, and when a son, named Hendrik Coster would be alive, than he will get 2/3 part of this money. If Judith Coster predeceased her husband, than she may leave him a gift of ƒ2000.-, understanding that he will leave this to the 2 children from his son's 1st marriagekinderen, on condition that he gives the house in which he and his wife are now living, after their death, after the duties are paid, to the children of the late Lambert Coster, as this house was originally the property of their grandparents. He gives his niece Catharina Kosters, wife of Hermannus ten Cate ƒ500.-, to Jannes Coster, son of his brother-in-law Jan Coster ƒ500.-, to his housekeeper ƒ500.-, to the Mennonite Parish ƒ500.-, to the NH Parish of Almelo ƒ200.-, and to his maid ƒ50.-.3 Hendrik ten Cate Hermannuszn's estate was probated on 8 Feb 1763. Jan ten Cate Janszn husband of Judith Coster, and also Jan Hermen Coster, as heirs of the late Hendrik ten Cate Hermannuszn, present Hendrik ten Cate Hermannuszn's will for probate.3
