     Hermanus Mulder was born in Almelo.2,1,5 He was baptized (RK) on 14 Jan 1750 in Tubbergen. Sponsor was Maria te Wyrik.2 He married Sophia Stroothuis, daughter of Henricus Stroothuis and Aleida Gasthuis, on 10 Oct 1812 in Almelo1,4 (banns 23 Aug 1812, Almelo, also in Tubbergen.)1 He died on 30 Aug 1815 at Hof van Gulik, house #114 in Almelo. Albert Kuiper and Albert Schuilenberg were the witnesses.5

He was in 1812 a blacksmith. He inherited his father's tools.1,3
In the death certificate is he over 60 yrs old, and husband of Sophia van het Weemsel; it is not clear whether this is indeed this Hermanus. His wife is Sophia Grimberg in her death certificate.5,4 He was mentioned in the will of Clasina on 16 Nov 1778.3
