Geert Geertsen made a will in 1719. He gives to the son of his sister Mette Geertsen, married to ? Prinskes, namely Gerrit Prinsen his loom, on condition that he puts ƒ10.- into the estate. To his sister Mette Geertsen his chest and his cupboard, for the good care. To Jan de Vries the small piece of land in the Kamp. He gives to his sisters Mette Geertsen, Engele Geertsen and Jenne Geertsen and to Jan de Vries the large piece of land, that they have to cultivate together, and are not allowed to sell. He gives anyone who owes him money, that exact amount. He makes to sole heirs in 5 equal parts, his three sisters Mette Geertsen, Engele Geertsen and Jenne Geertsen, and the children of his late brother Jan Geertsen, who are living in Friesland. The children of Jan Geertsen will also receive the ƒ15.-, which he still owes his brother.1
