Jan Tromp, and his wife Engeltjen Baerschers took out a mortgage with Abraham ten Cathe, and his wife Stientje ten Cate and heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, behind the house of Albert Ruijnx and that of the widow of Gerrit Jeurlink.2

The house of Jan Tromp was conveyed to Abraham ten Cathe and his wife and heirs in a court ordered sale. The house was located behind the house of the widow of Harmannus Spijker, and was sold because of a court order on 8 Jan 1748 in favor of Abraham ten Cathe.3
