     Hendrik Velthuis was born in Almelo.2 He was baptized (NH) on 17 Mar 1785 in Almelo.1 He married Judith Wanschers, daughter of Stoffer Wanschers and Geesken van de Grimmenberg, on 26 Apr 1817 in Almelo2 (banns 13 Apr 1817, Almelo.)2 He died on 26 Feb 1836 at Heerengracht (wijk 2), house #58 in Stad Almelo. Willem ten Dam and Gerrit Willem Lulof were the witnesses.4
