     Jacobus van Vilsteren was from in Zwolle at his marriage.2 He married (NH) Geertruid Fronten on 11 Apr 1697 in Almelo (with certificate from Zwolle)2 (banns 21 Mar 1697, Almelo.)2 He died bet 1724 - 1738, because he makes a will in 1724, and he died before Aleida's marriage.5,1

More Information:

Jacobus van Vilsteren made a will on 8 Jan 1724. He wishes that his unmarried children will remain in his house, and will be allowed to use the house and the garden for the sum of ƒ70.- per annum. If one of them marries, this one will have to leave the house, and the house will remain common property. This was approved by all the children, and Derk Prinsen, the son-in-law.5

Janna Bruins, widow of Wolter van het Weemsel, with her guardian Jan Bakker took out a mortgage with Jacobus van Vilsteren, with as collateral her half house and yard, near the Putte, of which the other half belongs to Harmen ten Cate, naast het huis van Lambert Rompelman.6

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 4 Feb 1726:
Janna Bruins, widow of Wolter van het Weemsel, with her guardian Jan Bakker, and also Jan Hendrick van het Weemsel and Berent Meijer and his wife Jennecken Wolters van het Weemsel took out a mortgage with Jacobus van Vilsteren, and Jannes van Vilsteren, with as collateral her half house and yard, near the Putte, of which the other half belongs to Harmen ten Cate, next to the house of Lambert Rompelman and on the other side the house of Jacobus van Vilsteren.7
