Stadsgericht, Almelo, 31 Jan 1671:
Lucas Courtsen, and his wife took out a mortgage with the supervisors for the Poor of the Stad Almelo, with as collateral their loom, a cow, and all their furniture. This was to pay a debt to Geert Berents in Vriezenveen.1
