Almelo Family Reconstructions
The Militia was started on 10 Dec 1783. Jacobus Revius provided practice space in some empty houses.
In Jan 1784 they choose C. Cock, G. Schimmelpenninck Ab.zn, H. J. Colmschate, H. J. Revius, N. H. ten Cate, J. L. Ernst and M. Henrichs as the 7 leaders of the recently organised Exercitie Genootschap Almelo or Miltia.
Shortly thereafter the corps elects as its officers

- A. Hanterman, J.O. ten Cate and J. L. Ernst (lieutenant.)
