Bredenberg appeared on the 1930 census as the head of household at Worcester, Massachussetts, with his wife Lillian H.. Enumerated with them was and four children and his father-in-law. His parents Carl and Hannah Bredenberg live in the same house, but a separate household. Carl and Hannah are born in Sweden, Walter is born in Massachussetts. Carl immigrated in 1895, Hannah in 1889.8 Lillian Bredenberg was in 1946 a stenographer in Teterboro.9
