     GEORGE A. SPORN SR., 81, of Fair Lawn died Friday. Before retiring in 1970, he owned Radburn Exxon, Fair Lawn, for 34 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member and trustee of the Church in Radburn and a past president of the Rotary Club, both in Fair Lawn. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 88, Wyckoff, and Fire Company 4 and the Chamber of Commerce, both in Fair Lawn. He had been a trustee of the Board of Education and the Radburn Association, both in Fair Lawn. Surviving are his wife, Edna May Sloss Sporn; two sons, George A. Jr. of Land O Lakes, Fla., and James R. of Reston, Va; and a sister, Lucille E. Sporn of Lakehurst. A brother, Vernon G., died in 1968. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Church in Radburn. Arrangements are by Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Fair Lawn. Donations to the memorial fund of the Church in Radburn, High and Cross roads, Fair Lawn, N.J. 07410, or to the Fair Lawn Rotary Club, Stuart Herrmann Scholarship Fund, 17-10 River Road, Fair Lawn, would be appreciated.7
