James M. Stevenson married Mary P.3 James M. Stevenson was in 1933 a silk dyer in Paterson. In 1935 he was a silk importer in New York.3,4 James was listed in 1933 at 14 Bedford Place, in 1935 at 201-B6 Abbott Road, and in 1937 as removed to New York.

#2. Joseph B. Kirkland (from 1935 to 1941).
The value of the house in 1940 was $12,500.5

     A house at 14 Bedford Place, Radburn, New Jersey was purchased by J. Brackin Kirkland.6

Joseph B. Kirkland was born in 1894 in Mississippi.5 Joseph B. Kirkland married Eleanor G.3,5 Joseph B. Kirkland was a director in New York. In the 1940 census he is listed as an assistant director of the Boys Clubs of America, Inc.3,5 Eleanor was born in 1897 in New York.5 Joseph and Eleanor had 4 children: William George, Julia Tucker, Joseph Brackin Jr. and Richard Ich.5 William was born in 1923 in New York.5 Julia was born in 1925 in New York.5 Joseph was born in 1926 in New York.5 Richard was born in 1928 in New York.5 Joseph and Eleanor were listed in 1933 at 14 Bolton Place, and in 1935-41 at 14 Bedford Place.
