Samuel Riker verzocht de rechtbank om de grenzen vast te stellen voor de verdeling van het land dat hij en zijn broers Isaac Riker en Henry Riker ge-erft hebben van hun vader Isaac Riker. Henry is na de dood van de vader overleden, en Isaac is nog minderjarig. Abraham Ryerson en Henry R. Van Ness worden aangesteld als commissioners. De verdeling was gemaakt op 21 Jan 1837. John Riker, voogd over Isaac Riker gaat accoord met de petitie.2
