  • Is Jan Hendrik the same person as Jan Boom? Jan Boom has a child Hendrika baptised in 1767, Jan Hendrik Boom married in 1759, last child in 1763.
     Jan Hendrik Boom was from in Almelo at his marriage.2 He was baptized (NH) on 29 Jan 1736 in Almelo.1 He married (NH) Jenneke Post on 21 Jan 1759 in Almelo2,6 (banns (NH) 16 Dec 1758, Almelo.)2 He died b 1771, because his wife was a widow at 2nd marriage.6

He was mentioned in the will of Hendrik de Ruiter and Janna Boom on 16 Mar 1806.3
It is not clear who died in 1839, no parents are mentioned. The signatures as witness are identical, but it could be Jan Boom, the son of Jan Hendrik Boom and Jenneke Post.
