     Willem Wanschers was born c 1686 in Almelo.2,1 He married (RK) Margriet Detlijf on 15 Nov 1712 in Tubbergen (witnesses: Gesina Westendorp and Domicella Sophia de Grubbe)3,1 (banns (NH) 31 Oct 1712, Almelo, and on 7 Oct 1712 in Amsterdam. His witness was his brother-in-law Lourens van Heukelom, hers her mother Grietje Harmens)1,2 They came with papers from Amsterdam. They had to pay a fine in Amsterdam on 28 Oct 1712.1,4

He was a carpenter.2
Four children were baptized RC in Amsterdam bet 1718 - 1721 (Margareta (1718), Margareta (1719), Jacobus and Arnoldus (1721)). Witnesses for the first Margaretha could be Berent Wanschers and Jenneken Wanschers. Jenneke also married RC.5
