     Derk Engberts was from in Almelo at his marriage.1 He married (NH) Johanna Gerritsen on 18 Sep 1712 in Almelo1 (banns 28 Aug 1712, Almelo.)1 He died b 1730, because his widow takes out a mortgage.2

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 7 Nov 1718:
Willem Prikkink, and his wife Geesken Bolk conveyed to Derk Engberts, and his wife Janna, their house and yard, between the house of Otto Lindeman and the alley to the Hofkamp. Part of the proceeds is used to pay of a mortgage, which Berend Demmers or his wife had taken out on 22 Aug 1702 from Wolter van der Linde.3

Stadsgericht, Almelo, 3 Aug 1723:
Derk Engberts, and his wife Johanna took out a mortgage with Johanna Tieleman, and her heirs, with as collateral their house and yard, between the house of Otto Lindeman and the alley to the Hofkamp.4
